Audatex Opens in China
Audatex China Team leads international summit for insurance companies to share their market development experiences
SAN RAMON, CA — December 7, 2006 — Audatex, a Solera Company, today announced that it has agreed to invest in launching operations in China and is currently in the process of establishing a wholly owned subsidiary in the country. This culminates several years of market research and development work in China and positions Audatex to be the clear market leader. The automated estimating market in China, which has over 18 million passenger vehicles and is now growing at over 25% per year, is a significant growth opportunity for Audatex.
Audatex recently held the first-of-its-kind international summit in Mexico City, discussing the recent advances and trends in claims automation. Hosted by Audatex, leading insurance carriers from Mexico, Europe, and the US shared lessons learned with their Chinese counterparts concerning keys to successful automation of the claims process.
“We invented automated estimating, so we have unmatched experience, insight, global presence, and resources to help our clients address new market conditions,” said Tony Aquila, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Solera, Inc. Aquila added, “China is a large unique market with 16 domestic manufacturers, two of which have announced plans to export to the US. Our partners in China appreciate the speed with which we can tailor our global database and estimating workflow platform to meet their unique local needs.”
